After caring for Mom for years, I was exhausted. Her two-week stay at Doat gave me time to recharge—and she loved the activities so much, she asked to move in permanently!

Dad needed extra help after his knee surgery. Doat’s respite care provided therapy, meals, and companionship—he recovered faster in their supportive environment.

When my father entered hospice, Doat’s team treated him like family. They played his favorite jazz music, held his hand, and made sure he wasn’t in pain. We’ll never forget their kindness.

Mom passed peacefully in her room at Doat, surrounded by photos and her favorite quilt. The staff cried with us—they truly loved her.

After Dad’s stroke, he struggled with swallowing. Doat’s chef created soft meals that looked and tasted amazing—he actually enjoys eating again!

Mom’s a picky eater, but the kitchen staff remembers her favorites and even surprised her with her mom’s apple pie recipe. That’s love.
